My name is Josh and I’m a senior at Carlmont High School. I first learned python in elementary school, and since then I have loved programming. I have experience in python, java, javascript, html, haskell, scheme, C, and MIPS, and I am have applied this knowledge as Vice-President of my school’s Computer Science club, where I help teach members about languages and algorithms. I have also competed for Carlmont in programming competitions and placed 2nd in the HP Codewars competition.

 

Now, I am applying this knowledge to the team as the Technical Advisor. I joined Ichan Robotics Society to help the team with its code and I find it amazing that I’m able to write programs than control a real robot. I am looking forwards to the competition and FTC has inspired me to pursue a major in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering in college.
