I never saw myself as the engineering type until sometime around freshman year when I saw the TV show Battlebots and that got me into robots which then lead me to computer science in Sophomore year. Ever since then I wanted to take every opportunity to either do computer science or build something electronic, but I was unable to join the robotics team at my high school because of time constraints so when I was told about this team I immediately said I would do it since it wouldn’t interfere with high school soccer.
